There are many historical monuments in this Western Bohemian town, with a mid-12th century castle in the lead. A number of prominent architects passed through Cheb, leaving many beautiful buildings behind. The names like those of Albrecht von Wallenstein, F. Schiller and J. W. Goethe are connected with history of Cheb. Cheb is suitable for smaller events from the point of view of MICE.
